How it works
A familiar face to look forward to.
Loneliness is common later in life, especially after losing a spouse, giving up driving, or watching friends move away. Days grow long and quiet, and people who are lonely often eat less, move less, and lose interest in the things they used to enjoy.
Regular visits give the week a shape and something to look forward to. Because we send the same caregiver each time, the relationship has time to grow.
Care starts at 5 hours a week. Most families pay $32 to $36 an hour. Paying for care
Often helps
