Who we are

Solura Home Care is a licensed Ohio non-medical home care agency (license 4574HHN) at 815 Superior Avenue East, Cleveland, OH 44114. In this policy, “we,” “us,” and “our” mean Solura Home Care. This policy covers our website and the information you share with us through it.

Information you give us

• Care plan requests. When you use Start your care plan, we ask who needs care, the kind of help you are looking for, your ZIP code, your timing, and your name and phone number. Email and the first name of the person receiving care are optional. While you fill in the form, your answers are saved in your own browser so you do not lose your place. They are cleared once you send it. When you send a request, we also note how you found our website (for example, a search engine or a link we shared) so we know which outreach is helping families.
• Newsletter sign-ups. If you subscribe, we keep your email address, where on the site you signed up, and the date.
• Calls and emails. If you call or email us, we keep what you tell us so we can help you.

Please do not send medical records or other detailed health information through the website. If care details are needed, we will talk them through with you directly.

Information collected automatically

We run our own simple visit statistics so we can see which pages help families and which do not. When you browse the site, we record:

• the pages you view, when, for how long, and how far you scroll;
• taps on key buttons, such as Call or Start your care plan, and when a form is sent;
• how you arrived: the website that linked to us, a campaign tag, or one of our own tracked links (for example, a link printed on a flyer);
• your device type, browser, operating system, screen width, language, and time zone;
• your approximate location (city, state, and country), which our hosting provider estimates from your internet connection.

We do not store your IP address with these statistics, and we do not use them to identify you by name. To tell a return visit from a new one, the site keeps a random ID in your browser’s local storage. Apart from the Microsoft Advertising tag described under “Advertising and measurement” below, we do not use advertising cookies or run third-party advertising or social media trackers.

If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, we do not collect visit statistics from it, and we do not load the advertising tag.

Our hosting provider also keeps standard technical logs, which include IP addresses, to keep the site secure and running. Those logs are handled under the provider’s own policies.

Advertising and measurement

We advertise on Microsoft Advertising (Bing search and Microsoft’s partner sites). To learn which ads help families find us, most pages of our website use Microsoft’s Universal Event Tracking (UET) tag. When it runs, it can set cookies and send Microsoft the page you are on, the ad you clicked to reach us, your browser and device, and your IP address. It also tells Microsoft when a care plan request is sent and when someone taps a phone number to call us.

The tag never sends what you type into a form, such as your name, phone number, email, or anything about the care you need. We do not load it on our pages about specific care situations, on newsletter and letter pages, or on our staff pages. We do not give Microsoft lists of our clients or contacts, and we do not use remarketing lists to show ads to people who visited our site.

Microsoft handles the information its tag collects under the Microsoft Privacy Statement and may use it for its own purposes, including personalizing ads. You can control that at Microsoft’s ad settings, and you can keep the tag from loading on our site by switching on Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track in your browser.

How we use information

• to respond to you and arrange a care consultation;
• to send the newsletter you asked for;
• to understand how the site is used and make it better;
• to see which of our ads help families find us;
• to keep the site secure and prevent misuse;
• to meet our legal and licensing obligations.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only:

• with service providers that run our website and office systems for us, such as our website host (Vercel), our database (Supabase), the secure service that receives care plan requests (Cloudflare), and the Microsoft 365 records we use to follow up on requests. They may use it only to provide those services to us;
• with Microsoft, for advertising measurement, as described in “Advertising and measurement” above;
• when the law requires it, or to protect the safety of our clients, caregivers, or others.

None of the sharing described in this section includes text messaging originator opt-in data or consent; that information is never shared with any third parties.

When a page loads, your browser also fetches fonts from Google Fonts and some code libraries from jsDelivr. Those services receive your IP address and browser details as part of delivering the files.

Text messaging

If you opt in to receive text messages from Solura Home Care — for example, by checking the box on our job application — we will use your mobile number to send messages about your application, such as interview times and reminders. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. Opting in is not a condition of applying. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

How long we keep it

We keep care requests and client communications as long as we need them to serve you and to meet our record-keeping obligations. Newsletter addresses stay on file until you unsubscribe. Visit statistics are kept only as long as they are useful for improving the site.

Your choices

• Unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time by replying to it or contacting us.
• Ask about your information. You can ask what we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by calling or emailing us. We may need to keep some records where the law requires.
• Turn off visit statistics and advertising measurement by switching on Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track in your browser. You can also manage how Microsoft personalizes ads at Microsoft’s ad settings.

Children

Our website is meant for adults arranging care. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Security

We use encrypted connections, limit who can see our records, and work with established service providers. No website can promise perfect security, so please call us for anything sensitive.

Our site may link to other websites. Their privacy practices are their own.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page with a new effective date.
