Local care

Care that knows Solon.

Solura Home Care provides non-medical in-home care and rides to appointments in Solon, Ohio, with the same caregiver at every visit.

Solon is a city of larger lots and quiet streets, by design: most of its residential land is zoned for homes on an acre or more. That gives families room and privacy, and it also means neighbors are farther apart and a car is needed for almost everything.

For an older parent who has stopped driving, or a spouse who should not be alone all day, that distance adds up. We bring steady help to the house and a ride when it is time to go somewhere, so life in Solon can stay just as it is.

Local questions

What Solon families ask.

We live on a long, wooded lot. Do you come out that far?
Yes. We serve all of Solon, and our caregivers are used to longer driveways and quieter streets. If there is anything about getting to the door we should know, like a gate or a side entrance, we note it in the care plan.
Does the Solon Senior Center work alongside home care?
Yes, the two work well together. The Solon Senior Center on Portz Parkway offers programs and company during the day, and we can provide the ride there and back, plus help at home before and after.
Is there a minimum number of hours?
Care starts at 5 hours a week, so a few visits for meals, bathing, or errands is a perfectly good place to begin, and the plan can grow from there.
