Local care

Care that knows Beachwood.

Solura Home Care provides non-medical in-home care and rides to appointments in Beachwood, Ohio, with the same caregiver at every visit.

In Beachwood, close to three in ten residents are 65 or older. Many of them have lived in the same home since the city grew up in the decades after the Second World War, and staying there is the plan.

With UH Ahuja Medical Center and a Cleveland Clinic health center right in town, appointments are rarely far away. Steady help in between is where a caregiver fits: a hand with the morning, a hot meal, and a familiar face who notices when something changes.

Local questions

What Beachwood families ask.

Beachwood already has a senior van. Why would we need rides from you?
The city's senior van is a wonderful service for getting to appointments. Our rides add a caregiver who stays with your parent through the visit, helps them in and out of the building, and sees them settled at home afterward. The two work well together.
Can you help after a stay at UH Ahuja Medical Center?
Yes. Care can start with more hours in the first weeks home, helping with meals, bathing, and moving around safely, then taper as strength returns. We do not provide medical care, but we work alongside the nurses and therapists your family already has.
Is there a minimum number of hours?
Care starts at 5 hours a week, so a few visits for meals, bathing, or errands is a perfectly good place to begin, and the plan can grow from there.
